Speaker Bio: Engineer in computer science and in development, I was very quickly captivated by the problems of performances and optimization of the technical architectures.
I worked for Nat Systems as a developer and then as a Software Architect where I developed expertise on HP-UX and SUN Solaris.
Subsequently, I joined the consulting teams of Business Objects (SAP now) as Technical Architect.
I realized the design of many WEBI BO architectures to accommodate several hundred concurrent users and sometimes thousands (Telecom) on servers type SUN E10K or AIX PowerP5.
I joined Hyperion France as Technical Architect, Infrastructure Expert and Team Leader.
Just like at BO, I designed complex EPM architectures (all modules) for the biggest accounts of the French and European market (Telecom, Energy, Banks, Transport etc.) and for an international user coverage.
I did a lot of auditing around the technical and application performance.
I realized for the account of Hyperion and HP, the benchmarks of qualification and validation of pre-S9 versions Essbase 64 bits HP-UX Itanium and this in the laboratories of HP France.
Then, after the acquisition by Oracle, I joined a young company Nell'Armonia (13 people) to create the Business Unit Architectures and Systems which included up to 20 consultants on EPM infrastructures when I left (and 120 consultants in the business).
I then created Quartz Insight whose values are more than ever focused on expertise, human adventure, passion and Customer focus. We develop new solutions related to the performances of EPM solutions on the Cloud or On Premise.
Technologies or Products Used: Oracle EPM 184.108.40.206 / AWS / POWERSHELL
Session Summary for Attendees: This session discusses the keys to implementing an EPM infra move from on-premises to IAAS infrastructure as AWS.
