2015 Women In Technology Scholar: Prachi Sharma
Prachi Sharma came to the United States with $400 and a dream to be fluent in technology. After obtaining her Master of Technology Management degree and holding positions with several IT companies as an Oracle developer, Sharma has forged a path toward success.
She is currently an architect in the Oracle space for General Mills, where she operates as a team expert on Oracle technologies and develops components; Sharma strives to eliminate and automate manual tasks for the team where appropriate and possible. Her motivations for applying for the scholarship include creating a strong network of like-minded women and men, developing professionally and having a platform to demonstrate that, finding and becoming a mentor, and lastly, establishing her personal brand.
“I am very grateful for this opportunity,” Sharma said. “I feel very proud and honored.”
