This year the database team here at Oracle is excited to bring to ODTUG Kscope an entire day of training on the core topics of interest to developers and really, all database professionals. You can expect more deep fundamental knowledge of what makes the database work and less marketing or future-looking topics. The keyword here really is “training!” We'll cover design, SQL, PL/SQL, performance, and the tools you need to do your job.

The ODTUG Kscope conference happens to coincide with Oracle’s new fiscal year and is our first opportunity to share the latest insights and announcements with conference attendees. That makes ODTUG Kscope the “must attend” conference, and there is no better venue for us to do that than at our Oracle EPM Cloud Sunday Symposium. With the new 11.2 release for our Hyperion EPM on-premises deployments and the rapid innovations coupled with the depth and breadth of functionality in Oracle EPM Cloud, we have a lot of valuable insight and information to share with our EPM-focused attendees at this year’s Sunday Symposium. Whether you have existing EPM deployments on-premises, cloud, or a little of both, this symposium is one you definitely don’t want to miss. We will cover the strategy and roadmap for all your deployment investments and continue our tradition of treating attendees to first looks at the latest innovations and works-in-progress. In addition, we will hear from new Oracle EPM Cloud customers.

Presented by Oracle EPM product management and development leaders, you will get unfiltered insight into our key R&D initiatives. Our goal at the EPM Sunday Symposium is to expose attendees to the latest and greatest from Oracle EPM development in these areas and offer you the opportunity to learn more in the detailed conference sessions. In keeping with our goal, the EPM Symposium's agenda reflects the late-breaking R&D efforts in the cloud which are not covered by sessions, while also relaying key efforts for on-premises EPM. We look forward to your attendance at this year's symposium.

Oracle Analytics Community Resources and Stories

Mike Durran, Oracle Corporation

One of the leading requests that we get from customers is to increase our roadmap transparency and community outreach. In this session, we will cover the available community resources including the new Analytics Ideas lab. You’ll also hear some experiences directly from the Oracle Analytics community.

11:20 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

It’s been a bumper year for Essbase and we have a very bright future. At last year’s ODTUG Kscope we laid out an ambitious roadmap and it’s very gratifying to report on how many important milestones we’ve passed in the intervening 12 months. Essbase 19c is now available on the OCI Marketplace. Cloud customers are delighted to have regained control of their Essbase deployments and have been putting the product through its paces, enjoying the many enhancements available in 19c. This summer we expect to announce the availability of Essbase 19c on-premises so that customers who are not yet ready to run Essbase in the cloud can join in the fun. In this session we’ll take a peek at some of the many advantages of Essbase 19c.
